Actually that's more realistic now that I think about it. You get fatter in real life if you fail to burn all the excess calories. I also agree on this. Resting/waiting such be one of the alternatives to digesting, but the other and better option should be sleeping. If you sleep with maybe 120/125% level of fullness, in the danger level, you should be able to gain quite a lot more overnight than just resting. Maybe with some flavor text to realize that you feel more heavy, and your clothes look and feel smaller. That's certainly doable. I'll try to add that in the next update.

Also, sleeping would be for inns and rest-houses, not for out in the wild, that sort of thing will get you killed. That's certainly doable. I'll try to add that in the next update. That would be good. IMO the next update (or even the next few), should be given more to developing mechanics than adding diversity to the map.

After i ate ate a roast chicken and got my capacity up to the danger level, I entered into combat with a boar.
I was not able to use any actions. They still took turns, but the i did nothing while the enemy licked its teeth into me.

This isn't against the rules so i'm assuming it's not wrong to ask but when are updates usually released? I'm very excited for this game as it looks like it has a lot of promise with all the thought that's going into it and even what's already there.

Really, it's just whenever I feel like there's been enough progress to warrant an update. So far, it seems to be about once a month for major updates, but it's a little dead right now because I'm busy with final exams and such with the semester about to end.

Released update v0.8.2
Now that school's over for the semester, I finally got some QoL features in that should've been in a long time ago. :x

Some bugs I found so far: - Enemies at 0 HP don't die
-Steps to Reproduce: Enter the Forest Shack and let the ferret feed you until you enter a food coma. Exit the area and fight any monster. It won't die when it's HP is brought to 0. -Suspected Bug: The bug only appears when you keep choosing the "Keep eating" option, which causes you to enter a food coma and leaves you at 0 HP. Your HP goes back up to 1 by the end of the event however. I think something went wrong related to the player's HP here that's somehow linked to the enemy HP, which prevents them from dying (similar to how you didn't die even though you were brought to 0 HP during the event)
- Loading the save file on refreshing
-The game starts over when you refresh or reopen it. Loading bring backs your save file.

-The game starts over when you refresh or reopen it. Loading bring backs your save file. Thanks for pointing out the first bug. I've hot-fixed it. Problem was the game kills you if you exceed your hidden maximum capacity, but it never "revives" you when you go back to 1 HP. When the game thinks you're dead, some things won't work right. As for the second one, that's not a bug, as I understand it. That is exactly what happens when you refresh/reopen a .swf file. Refreshing/reopening the game isn't supposed to automatically load your save file.

Seems to be working good, though there are a handful of minor niggles: 1. When you equip an item, or sell an item, you still have to press the 'back' button to go back to the inventory, rather than it happening automatically. 2. There's no penalty for walking around for days with 0 capacity. 3. There's no way to lose weight.

It was actually like that originally, but then I got some complaints about doing it the way it is now. idk, I'll consider it in the future. 2. That was intentionally removed a couple updates ago because it just got annoying for testing. It hasn't really been balanced yet so it quickly became frustrating to deal with. 3. Huh? Losing... weight...? You're crazy. In all seriousness though, you can lose weight, it's just very slow. Again, it's something that needs to be balanced.

When the game thinks you're dead, some things won't work right. Nice job One more bug: - Digestives don't work properly
-Digestives decrease CAP but do not increase FAT upon use -Number Display: When your CAP is at 0, the item description displays "FAT + NaN". When CAP is at any value above that, it displays "FAT + Infinity" -Additionally, when your belly is "stretched" and you have increased total CAP, Digestives can display a CAP loss greater than your current CAP. They are most likely using the old values you initially had for the stat and have yet to be adjusted for your bigger belly. This is much more noticeable when you have a greatly increased total CAP or you use a strong Digestive. Two QoL suggestions:
- Add impassable terrain indicators onto the map.
- Switch the position of the load and save buttons (or add a confirmation prompt for loads/saves). When accessing menus, clicking the back button too fast to exit the menus can result in accidently clicking the load button, losing all your progress until the last save point. Switching the button positions (since the save button is a lot less accessible) or adding a prompt could help prevent this.

The whole NaN/infinity thing is a known bug. It's trying to do some weird math (trying to divide by 0 and/or multiplying infinity by 0). For some reason I haven't been able to recreate it, but it shouldn't be hard to fix. I'm not sure about the display bug either. I realized I forgot to add markers for impassable terrain and was gonna add them in, but I decided against it since it's not particularly important right now. Also, the current map is only a placeholder. Confirming a loading has been brought up in the past. I just never got around to it. Will probably have multiple save files in the future so you'll have to pick a file to confirm loading it. Otherwise I'll just add a small confirmation screen.

Since the game is still in an early state, and since you're probably still working heavily on the coding, most of the actual text to give the game it's flavor isn't really there yet, right? Most if it must be placeholders. (Your description, locations, etc.)
