Here's a random topic just because this forum has been dead for a while.
It's just a list of things that drive me insane.
Now this is just subjective, I don't have a problem with people that are into this sort of thing.
I just wanted a discussion.
1) Magically getting taller
I adore the artist Big Love Alicia but it always bugged me that when she does a weight gain sequence the characters will get taller to compensate for the extra pudge.
It kind of takes me out of the image as I can only image a character's skeleton rearranging just to hold up more fat.
2) Insta-Gain
You ever eat a doughnut and instead of digesting it magically becomes a layer of fat instantly? Me neither.
3) Planet sized
Sometimes things just get a little silly.
4) Boobs bigger than belly
Can't imagine that working out on a physics level.
5) Vanishing Limb Syndrome
When someone gets so fat that their hands get sucked into their arms. Don't think it works like that.
6) Belly equator
This can be done well but a lot of times a character's belly will be segmented into two parts for no reason. Like they're wearing an invisible belt. The way to do it right is to have a smaller section of the upper belly and a large "spare tire" that sags down.
7) How the hell are you walking
You have a character that games nearly a ton in body fat but they still walk around. Immobility is a thing for a reason.
8) So how are you going to eat now
When a character becomes immobile but is nowhere near a food source. Believe it or not you will starve to death even if you have excess blubber.
9) Slob/Farting
This is a fetish on its own so it's just a preference thing. I just think it's kinda gross.
