hi i just playd undertale its rly gud gam with inovativ mechanik
What if you could spare certain enemies instead of killing them for different rewards?

Interesting. But could we make it interesting enough? What kind of enemies did you have in mind? Don't really have specific enemies in mind, but maybe getting a quest from a generic enemy? For instance, let's say the player is fighting a robber. After fighting the robbery for a while, until it's HP is between 1-10 or it is defeated, the player could choose to spare it and in return gain a certain quest and or quest item. In this instance, the robber drops a pass to an until-that-point inaccessible area.

I think a robber would just run away if you're about to kill him. UNDERTALE is centered around the mercy mechanic, but in this game it wouldn't fit as well.
