Okay, for all that we've heard a lot of stuff about quests, nothing concrete has yet been laid down, expect perhaps that the big quest is to figure out (and potentially stop) whatever is causing the massive fertility increase and the rampant growth in gluttony. However, one single quest isn't really sufficient to make a good game, so what other quests can people think of for the player to undertake while they're preparing for the main quest?
- Farmers south of <the plains city> are complaining of feral dogs and even wolves preying on their livestock, and will willing pay to have them eliminated, <meagre sum> for a dog pelt, and <okay sum> for a wolf pelt.
- Travellers coming to <the plains city> from <the port town> on the coast are complaining that a criminal gang led by an extremely large and strong figure named <Boss>, who styles himself as a 'lord'. Since <Boss> is taking money that could be spent in the city, the local guards will pay <a goodly sum> to anyone who can bring him/her to them.
- An elderly healer living near <the mountain city> is trying to make a potion that can help to temporarily cure gluttony, but to complete it, he/she needs a good amount of <rare herb>, which can only be found in the forest far to the south, and he will pay either in gold or in a choice of potions for you to bring him as much of the herb as you can.
- A wizard in <the desert city> is seeking a rare artefact once known to have been owned by <Ancient Lord Tutum> who's treasure house was sited somewhere deep in the desert, guarded by Golems. He/she is seeking the artefact alone, and will pay you <a handsome sum> for finding it, but fully expects it won't be alone, for <Ancient Lord Tutum> is rumoured to have built up a great store of treasure.
