Of the 25 inputs, 19 are for the description, and only 6 for game elements themselves.

As goran (Original Poster) had asked, some of the races I feel would not work are the dinosaurs purely because of the chronology. It irked me a little to see that a dinosaur existed with animals of modern day (anthro or not).
A species i'd like to see though is maybe some more mythical creatures like Hippogriffs and others that could have stat bonuses unique to them and/or pose a considerable challenege given their anatomy.

I haven't really put any thought/work into the actual playable character yet. I've been preoccupied with getting stuff to work under the hood. Of course there are plenty of things that "should" be in the game, but as the developer, it's more a question of feasibility. While we're considering custom species, note that there's likely gonna be a very conservative limit on customization. There's simply no way to please everyone, so the best option would be to just cover the basics for now. You will be very hard pressed to see anything that deviates much from a typical furry character. The same goes for fur patterns and markings. Do not expect to see descriptions of fur beyond basic region coloring, if at all. These details are best left up to the player's own imagination rather than trying and failing to deliver exactly what everyone is looking for, only to disappoint them with the fact that they can't get their character described exactly as their fursona. As for stats, I am likely just going to allow players to allocate their own starting stats at character creation (which will be added eventually). I never liked the idea of race-specific bonuses. They're insignificant in the long run, and it's frustrating when you can't play the race you want simply because it's sub-optimal for whatever you're trying to do.

Would a Taur check box be possible? Just select a species, and check/uncheck the box. Taur would have only minor description and stat changes, I think.

Understandable. I mean, I was in favour of including a tauric option, but the more I thought about, the more I realised the collosal amount of work involved.

It's not so much the extra work involved, it's more that it's just not that important in the grand scheme of things. Taurs are a fairly niche subgroup of this game's audience. While I acknowledge there are plenty of people who might like the option to have a taur character, it's just not worthwhile to pursue at this stage in development. Again, I cannot make everyone happy with everything each individual wants. I can only try to please the broadest groups to keep development at least somewhat efficient. Otherwise, things will quickly, and without a doubt, derail while trying to cater everyone's whims.

I fully understand that Taur's aren't happening until more major mechanics are completed. I meant that when those are done, then taurs would be something to do.

Okay, having tried the custom species builder in noone's game, once I got used to it, I found it somewhat less cumbersome that I had the first time I tried it.
Also, looking over the list again, I'd like to remove Dog, Cattle, Goat and Pig, as being domesticated animals, and thus not really fitting. The last three could be replaced by Bison/Buffalo, Ibex and Boar.
