But part of it is static anyway right, because bones and organs have a certain minimum weight. of course, if that's going to be too difficult to implement, just say. I just thought it would be a nice addition. One of the ideas I had was for the character getting loaded with gold. Weight from bones/organs/etc. is not static. Those are accounted for, at the moment, simply as a percentage of your height. It wouldn't be hard to implement, it's just a bit odd. As for weight from gold, that is not gonna be a thing. All it would do is get in the way and frustrate the player, either from being ridiculously weighed down by gold or not having enough gold on you when you need it. Additionally, that would involve me having to implement some kind of banking feature. I'm willing but also hesitant to implement item weight for the same reason.

The majority of these are excessively complicated or have little practical value over simpler equivalents. With the exception of silencing or stunning, things like DoTs and basic passive stat debuffs are probably the only status effects I will consider. Like I said, tweaking is needed.

Oh the player wouldn't voluntarily eat the gold, it would be forced down their throat (by magic) during a fight.
