Plopping this down for people to think of and discuss various NPCs that they believe would be interesting for the player may meet in the game. Quest givers, shopkeeps, random people that may show up in events, all are valid here! Just make sure you have a reason for the NPC to exist, rather than a random face we could stick into a number generator.
My first NPC idea is simple. Its a quest giver to greet the player very early on, perhaps even directly after character gen. She's a mouse, who has been rather fortunate in that she has only grown relatively plump in the wake of the curse. However, the reason for this is she is a near-coinless beggar. She has to subsist on (gasp) only four meals a day! She approaches the player, begging them to bring her X amount of food from the wilderness outside the city. But she remembers before the player leaves to tell them that its dangerous outside the city! She gives the player her last five gold pieces to buy a weapon at the smith's.
It's a simple NPC who I envision being a very peppy, yet naive individual for the player to meet. Sort of a representation of the carefree nature of the main city and a useful tool to introduce the player to three basic systems of the game. Food, buying, and combat.

Oh, by the way! Your own fursonas are all valid candidates for NPCs too as long as they can fit into the world reasonably well! I just need to make sure that the significance of your NPC's appearance makes sense given how much work you've done. That way people have to earn a more significant role in the game.
Edit: I forgot to add that in order for your fursona to be put into the game, you have to earn the right through contributing to the project.

Obvious magician under disguise. I am calling it right now.

Final boss of the game: leviathan mousewhale that you fed all game, shooting lightning at you. With her of course being able to be devoured. Edit: I do forget to mention though, your idea of a mousegirl could also be used friend throughout the whole game as well as introductory character. She can offer friendly dialogue that updates the fatter you get along with her trying to keep up with you as a nice little sidequest to see who could gain the most in a limited timespan. Anything for plump mousegirls.

Serath is a pure white, one tailed, femboy Kitsune that can morph into any furred anthro. He's open to gaining weight and would probably eat anyone that attacked him, or is too evil to let live. He speaks poetically without even noticing that he's doing it. Body is lithe and feminine but his ass and hips expand the most when he gains weight. This isn't a character that's really meant for a weight gain story, but I don't mind if you use him. Although in the future vore and weight gain may be used in a Serath story. I dunno. This is not a place for people to post their own OCs to be used in game. That is something that needs to be earned through contribution to this project.

Sorry. Just edited an earlier post I made here. I didn't realize I never made that clear in this thread, so that's my bad. I had mentioned it somewhere else but not here until now.

That aside, it'd be handy to have something like the Cabal from Noone's game, somewhere you can sacrifice fat for other things.

I think I'd prefer something original. If not an NPC you could pray to the altar of a fertility god/goddess or something.

A new system is currently in the works for resource management. Mana and energy are likely being thrown out in favor of a system that uses fat as a resource for skills and such.
